    Product description

Cultilene substrate slabs have an excellent controllable and (potentially) high water retention capacity. They can also be quickly and completely resaturated. The excellent control range gives you the opportunity to vary the moisture percentage in every cultivation phase and in every season within the desired bandwidth.

The advantage of stone wool is that it has a high water resistance and contains a lot of air. Rock wool is also light, compact and relatively cheap. Stone wool is therefore also the most commonly used growing medium in greenhouse horticulture. Yet it is not easy to grow on rock wool; some knowledge is required. Stone wool already has a high PH value by itself, so it is important to water it well with a low PH value (5.1 to 5.5). Make sure that the PH value in the slab is never lower than 5.0. This prevents the wool from collapsing and losing its elasticity. By treating stone wool well, it will last a very long time.

Rock wool slabs (plates) are packed in UV resistant polyethylene for ease of use. The special structure of Cultilene vegetable and flower substrate slabs provide a uniform environment so that plant roots can explore all available growth volume in a short time for a quick start. The distribution of water and nutrients is also more gradual and therefore provides a greater effective root volume than previously possible.

Cultilene stone wool slabs are available for vegetable cultivation and flower cultivation. The differences between the mats are minimal, both in terms of strength, moisture content and dimensions. In addition, the durability of these mats is at a lonely high level.

The slabs or slabs method is most commonly used by commercial gardeners to grow larger, high productivity plants (tomatoes or cucumbers) and for the large-scale cultivation of flowers. Drip irrigation is the best method of feeding plants at regular intervals.
